A login building block, not an auth platform
Descope is a customer-authentication platform whose signature feature is Descope Flows — a no-code, drag-and-drop editor for building and changing auth journeys without redeploying. It manages logins, sessions, multi-tenant organizations, SSO/SCIM, and fine-grained authorization (RBAC/ReBAC/ABAC).

Sessions vs portable proofs
Both are passwordless. The output is the difference. Descope issues a session in your app; Proof issues a proof token — a portable ES256 attestation that a named asset was verified at a point in time, verifiable offline by anyone with the public key.
